Hi everyone! I want to improve the utility of my truck bed, by adding lashing points at the top. Someone recommended the Builtright molle side panels, but I don't have any DIY experience in such a thing. This is why I am asking for help. So, in case you have installed them, how easy are they to install and did you run into any issues during the setup? Last, is this upgrade worth it, anyway? Thanks!

The Builtright MOLLE panels are fairly easy to install with basic tools, even for beginners, and they’re a great utility upgrade. Just follow the instructions carefully, and you shouldn’t run into issues...

Im also very happy with mine. I keep most of my gear organized in pack out cases, which makes it incredibly easy to swap out equipment as needed. I haven't yet attempted to transport any motorcycles in the truck bed, but I'm considering converting it to a flatbed configuration.

It's a pretty simple install, no drilling involved since they use the existing mounts. You'll probably want to have a ratchet set and some hex keys on hand.

I've seen those panels! They look awesome. Don't worry about the DIY thing too much, it's usually less scary than it sounds. If you can use a wrench or a drill, you'll be fine. Just take your time and follow the instructons. And yeah, they're totaly worth it for organizing your gear and adding those lashing points. Makes a big difference

Appreciate all the feedback!
I went ahead and installed the Builtright MOLLE panels, and you guys were right. It wasn’t too bad, even for a DIY newbie like me. It was way easier than I was thinking. You just have to follow the instructions.

If you're not comfortable with DIY, that's totally understandabel. I've been hesitant about certain mods myself. Maybe you have a friend who's handy with tools who could help you out? Or, you could always have a professional installer do it. It might cost a bit more, but it'll save you the stress. I've learned that knowing your limits is important

Absolutely, I agree 100%. I've been in that 'DIY or not?' spot myself, and it's always better to be safe than sorry. You're right, knowing your limits and getting help from a friend or a pro is the smart move. Saves a lot of potential headachs and stress in the long run.
