High Insurance Rates for R1T

I’m in the process of purchasing an R1T and just got an insurance quote from Rivian/Nationwide. They quoted me $3,300 annually just for the truck, which is about four times what I currently pay for two cars with Progressive! I called Progressive for a quote on the R1T, but they hadn’t even heard of Rivian and had to create a quote manually.

I like the idea of going with Rivian’s plan for the added benefits, but the price is pretty steep. Is this rate pretty standard for other R1T owners, or have people found more affordable options?
