I noticed My R1T's manufacturing date

I recently realized that the door sticker on my R1T says it was manufactured in January of this year. So, I’m wondering, has this truck really been sitting for months before I got it.

It’s been an incredible vehicle to drive, and I absolutely love it, but I’m curious if anyone else has had the same experience. Just wondering if this is a common occurrence.

It’s possible it was built earlier but sat in inventory for a while before being sold. It’s not uncommon, but I’m glad you’re enjoying the R1T.

If your R1T was built in January, it might have hung around the factory or a holding lot for a bit before you got it. Happens sometimes with shipping delays, quality checks, or just waiting for enough trucks to ship together. Rivian's ramping up production, so they're probably just figuring things out. Sounds like you're loving it though, so no biggie.
