Hi!
The power tonneau on my truck has broken and now I want to replace it with a manual tonneau.
The problem is that there is a plastic stop me that doesn't let me install it.
Is there any way to get rid of it and do the installation? Thanks for your thoughts and advice!

Have you looked into whether the piece could drop down somehow? Is there a spring mechanism built in? Does it move when you press the tonneau buttons? It actually makes sense to have stoppers to keep the cover from randomly coming loose.

Try seeing if you can just pop that plastic stop off. You could carefully pry it with a trim removal tool or even a screwdriver, depending on how it's stuck on there.

That plastic piece is probably part of the power tonneau system. From what I've read, you gotta take apart some of the stuff around the bed rails to get it off.

If you're not sure how to do it, maybe call Rivian or take it to a shop. They can probably show you how or just do it for you.

Good luck with the install! Let us know how it goes.
