The R2 has me giddy with anticipation! However, I would like to know if the windows on the rooftop retract. I love that feature in cars. Anyone here know?

I totally get your excitement, rooftop windows are like a sunroof but with a VIP pass to the sky! As for the R2, it doesn’t currently feature retractable rooftop windows, but hey, who knows what future updates might bring

I’m wondering the same thing! It feels like the R2’s aiming for that sleek, modern style with the fixed glass roof like the R1. But a retractable option would be so sweet for summer drives! Maybe they’ll offer it in a higher trim?

As much as the R2 might have you excited, I hate to burst the bubble it doesn’t look like the rooftop windows retract. Guess you'll have to settle for just enjoying the view through the fixed glass instead

Rivian has expressed openness to a variety of ideas, so if there's a feature you're really passsionate about, don't hesitate to reach out and share your suggestion with them.

To my knowldge, the R2 comes with a sleek fixed glass panoramic roof. The rear window is rollable, and the side rear windows can be popped open for added ventilation.

Rivian’s all about hearing new ideas, so if you’re dreaming of that retractable roof, hit them up with your suggestion

As for the R2, it’s rocking a fixed glass panoramic roof, no sunroof magic happening there. But hey, you never know, maybe they’ll surprise us
